Day 6 ? 7 ?

Today gets a 9 out of 10 (needs frolicking dolphins to get full 10) . . . long stroll on beach with pleasant retired gentleman, painting the bus, only 1 bloke asking questions about inverter, gentle breeze, sunshine, a quick swim (the water's great once you get out). Have started attracting local pets who are very interested in getting into the bus. Smokey ventured on to the beach during swim, sat howling at the ocean. "WTF is that? I mean WHAT IS IT? Why are you IN it?" Influx of grey nomads, long serious conversation about who got what discount on the hot showers, culminating in elderly task force trooping off to caravan park office to try to get another 5% off the 6-dollar a night site fee. Have not worn shoes for 3 days.

    I remember being in Western Australia when a pod of dolphins came into this man made small boating inlet harbour thingie to see what we were doing.
    It was just the best. A real 10!
