What Has Four Walls, 14 Wheels and 16 Legs?

...my house in Meekatharra which I just bought for $70,000, which will house my bus, Ian's trailer, the 4WD, Honey, Smokey and Atlas the Monster Hound!  OMG!!!!  The owners accepted my offer and I've just done the paperwork & deposit. We move in on November 22nd; the local temperature should be a balmy 45 Celsius by then, perfect for painting and trying to kill each other with whatever power tools are handy as the noonday sun burns all common sense out of our brains.

Haven't got photos of Atlas yet but we're adopting him from Jerry who can't fit him in his motorhome, because Atlas is a cross between a Great Dane, wolfhound and a bear. He is a HUGE brindle coloured beast whose head is twice as big as Honey. His meal is one small child once a day; he is used to living with his tiny friend Nobby & various cats so it's unlikely he will eat any of my pets. He looks like he could just casually tear your arm off but is a big sooky soppy thing. His job will be guarding the property from marauding local youths (it's a quality town).

Also hoping to adopt a rescue parrot of some kind from Jo, why not? There's also heaps of room on the block for pet camels too. What on earth will happen next? If the gold boom doesn't come off you can find me gnawing on roadkill in the back yard while drunken miners rent the house out. Drop in any time!

35 Main Street, Meekatharra

Camel area

The all-important beer garden

My own personal bleak desert setting

Looking towards town, scenic views of passing road trains

Plenty of room for the beer fridges
Dark hallway leads to rooms filled with indescribable filth -
always a plus when trying to attract buyers

Current tenant Evelyn - start packin'!
