Sea Tales

Well we managed to tear ourselves away from the giant screen TV and get the tinny in the water! Finn caught a small bronze whaler shark and a mullet, and we snagged some delicious blue swimmer crabs in the mangrove channels. The wind got the better of us so once all the beer was gone we called it a day.

Duncan and Finn have me completely terrified of going anywhere near the water in Carnarvon after telling me stories of tiger sharks and SALT WATER CROCODILES jesus christ!

Here's a Carnarvon joke:

Little Billy is illegally catching mud crabs when Fisheries Ranger turns up. "What are you doing with that mudcrab?"  "Oh that's my pet mudcrab sir, I'm takin' him for a walk eh."  "What?"  "Yer, look I'll put him in the water and call him, he come back."  "No way! Show me!"  Billy puts the mudcrab in the water and it scoots off into the deeps. "Okay," says Mr. Ranger, "Now let's see you call that mudcrab back."  Billy: "What mudcrab?"

Your toothless friends at the pub will never get tired of hearing this joke.
