An excellent day of bus painting, finishing my bandido and his dog (photos soon). My imagination yet again outstripped ability and there was an embarrassingly public moment where I and everyone in the caravan park could clearly see that I am incapable of painting hands or guns. Since I was standing there with paintbrush in hand, I couldn't claim (as I have on previous occasions) that the bus painting had been done by handicapped children.
But with helpful suggestions from roof carpenter neighbour Paul and various passersby, I managed to fix it (sort of - squinting helps). Except for the bit where Smokey dragged his tail across the lower half of the rifle. I retired for the evening with a renewed respect for the great artists like Rembrandt and the people who draw The Simpsons.
